The choreographer Jack Cole, the man responsible for the moves in “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” “Gilda,” and “Les Girls,” is being celebrated a MOMA this week, with a retrospective of 18 films as well as talks and interviews, ably led by the LA-based dance critic Debra Levine. The new year is well underway. So far it has brought mainly loss, with the death of David Bowie and Alan Rickman. Let’s hope things improve from here…
